Residential Training at Project Vayati
Project Vayati is an effort to bring members of transgender communities into the mainstream by helping them find appropriate jobs in the formal sector. We are excited inform you that we have completed 12 days residential training program for participants from sexual minority communities at Don Bosco Skill Mission.
We are happy to inform you that we are able to place 5 candidates. Two of them have been placed with Don Bosco Skill Mission; one of them as a part of their evaluation team and other one as a trainer. Another participant have been placed with Innove as an office assistant, other one as part of hospitality team at IBM. Three participants have successfully managed to find job for themselves after the training and we are delighted! Currently 5 candidates are still looking to be placed. We are in touch with many companies and placement process is going on.
