Fundraiser ends on 11th July, 2021
The second wave of COVID-19 has hit us in devastating ways. Communities of sex workers, gender and sexual minorities are struggling to make ends meet. They are facing loss of livelihoods, food uncertainty, physical and mental health concerns.
Solidarity Foundation is providing ration and hygiene kits, and mobile phone recharges for emergency to ease the communities’ struggle.
We are a registered trust based in India supporting sex workers and gender and sexual minorities. We do this through building of grassroots collectives and leadership, livelihood initiatives, and spotlighting overlooked issues.
Our leadership programme is aimed at enabling change makers to raise their voice and shape the agenda around issues of sexuality at the state/national level. It is a step towards ushering in change in favour of grassroots gender and sexual Minorities and sex workers in India.
You have a key role to play in this process of change,
whether you are a corporation, a foundation, or an individual. You can contribute to our cause and associate with us by donating money, time or resources. Students, volunteers, interns – WE NEED YOU ALL.
Our work is made possible by funding from various people. Many corporates, foundations and individuals have immensely supported our communities in their endeavours. Some of our recent donors are foundations like Rohini Nilekani Philanthropies, Corporate like Godrej and various individuals.
